OSX GPU Compatibility Notice
Starting with OSX 10.14, Apple has deprecated all GPU frameworks in favour of their own Metal API. To future-proof our GPU accelerated effects, Plugin Everything will now be building all new and updated Mac plugins on the Metal framework. This has some performance advantages, but also a few compatibility considerations (see below).
Metal Acceleration must be enabled in Project Settings
If this is not enabled, the plugin won’t render. This also applies to Adobe Media Encoder if you’re exporting through that.
The new framework is only supported on After Effects 16.0 (CC 2019) and up
If you’re running an older version of After Effects on OSX, you’ll need to use an older version of the plugin (if available). Refer to each product’s compatibility info for more information.
